The General Ledger module is the core of ESKA® Business Manager. Its reliable transaction processing, flexible account formatting, powerful budgeting and inclusive reporting provide comprehensive financial control.
Using the General Ledger module, you can build flexible Charts of Accounts reflecting each company’s sections and departments. You can also build a consolidated Chart of Accounts to maintain overall balances and financial statements of all companies.
The module supports allocation processing to enable you to distribute the value of a single account into a series of accounts based on specific criteria. Balances and summaries can be provided at cost centre level. In addition, financial statements and reports can be generated such as the Statement of Accounts and Trial Balance. The module also supports currency re-evaluation of account balances.
