Activities
are the main areas of expenditure within a company. Using the Activities
page you can manage your entire cost profit centre activities in terms of
adding, editing or deleting existing activities. Activities can be designed in
a hierarchal manner
To add a new activity, click . If there are already predefined activities available, you can
click the required one to which you want to add another activity of same or
different level; next click
and proceed with the
following:
§ The Company Name is automatically displayed by the system according to the logged-in user’s company;
§ The Code is automatically generated by the system;
§ Enter the Short Name of the activity;
§ Enter the full Name of the activity. In Name 2 you can enter the name of the activity in the second language of the system;
§ If you have selected a certain activity before clicking the Add button, check-in the Add to Same Level checkbox if the new activity should be located at the same level of the selected activity; otherwise, leave the checkbox empty to locate the new activity to be of a sub-level of the selected one;
§ Click to save your work.
