In the Cost
Profit Centres page allocate the costs and profit caused by the different
departments of your company. You can choose to reflect the department expenditures
of each activity on one cost centre, or on several cost centres as per
user-defined percentages. Cost/ Profit Centres are the divisions where all the
cost/ profit activities are separately figured and allocated.
Through
this page, you can assign the cost centre(s) for each activity caused by each
department and specify the distribution percentages of the elements expenditure
over cost centres as required. To do so, you need to go through the following
steps:
§ From the Branches List block, select the branch(es) you want by checking-in the checkbox corresponding to each branch needed;
§ From the Departments List block, select the department(s) you want by checking-in the checkbox corresponding to each department needed;
§ From the Activities List block, select the activities you want by checking-in the checkbox corresponding to each activity needed;
§ Click to link the selected branch,
department and activities together and add them in the Cost/ Profit Centres
List block;
§ Next, you can enter the affecting percentage of
each cost profit centre on the selected centre
by clicking. Note that the total shares should sum up to 100%.
