The Locations page is where you are able to define the location of every asset your company owns. Locations can be defined in a hierarchal mode and can be viewed in a structured tree view.

 

To inquire about Fixed Asset Locations within a specific branch, simply select the Branch and the system will automatically retrieve locations within the selected company branch.

 

To edit a previously defined asset location, click on the location you want and then proceed with the changes needed. Once done, click Update.jpg to save the changes you have done.

 

To add a new location, click add.jpg and then perform the following steps:

 

§  The Company name and Branch will be automatically displayed by the system according to the logged-in user’s company and branch;

§  The Location Code is automatically generated by the system;

§  Enter the Name of the location. In Name 2 you can enter the name of the location in the second language of the system as well;

§  Select the Cost Centre and Customer associated to this location;

§  Specify to which Employee assists on this location will be in custody of;

§  If you have selected a certain location, check-in the Add to Same Level checkbox to determine whether you want to locate the new location to the Same Level of the selected location or to be of a sub-level. If you leave the checkbox empty, the system will locate the new location to be of a sub-level of the selected location;

§  Click Save.jpg to save your work.
