To add the asset reclassification details, click  in the Assets Reclassification Details block and then perform the following steps:

 

§  Select the Asset you want to apply the transaction for. Note that assets can be defined through the Asset Definition page;

§  The system will automatically display the asset’s Current Group of the selected asset;

§  Select the New Group for the selected asset. Asset groups can be defined through the Definitions page;

§  The system will automatically retrieve the New Depreciation Percentage for the asset based on the new asset group selected. However, you can change it if you want;

§  The Unit Cost, Accumulated Depreciation and Depreciation Difference will be automatically calculated upon saving the reclassified asset details;

§  Click  to save you work.
