Under exceptional circumstances such as correcting data entry errors or consolidating asset groups, you might sometimes need to change the classification of an asset into another asset group. Through the Reclassification page you can reclassify assets into another asset group.

 

To reclassify assets, you need to click  in the Assets Reclassification block and then perform the following steps:

 

§  Select the Branch in which the asset is located;

§  Enter the Date of asset reclassification;

§  The Transaction Number is automatically given by the system after saving the sale entry;

§  Enter any necessary Notes;

§  Click  to save your work;

§  Next, you need to specify the Assets Reclassification Details.
